Tiffany and Co has unveiled the fall chapter of its annual high jewellery collection, Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder, with nearly 40 new designs inspired by the ocean.
The pieces were presented on 18 September at a gala in Milan. They continue the company’s exploration of marine themes and reinterpret earlier works by designer Jean Schlumberger, including brooches and pendants first created in the mid-20th Century.
Chapters within the collection include Anchor, Anemone, Ocean Flora, Shell, Urchin and Mermaid.
Each introduces new pieces incorporating diamonds and coloured gemstones, from cushion-cut stones set in platinum and gold to an 8.62-carat green tourmaline brooch.
The Anemone chapter draws on brooches made by Schlumberger, reimagined as a necklace set with three unenhanced rubies sourced from Mozambique.
The Urchin chapter uses a 19th Century enamel technique known as paillonné to recreate the sea creature’s radial forms.
A one-of-a-kind watch forms part of the Ocean Flora chapter, featuring a mother-of-pearl dial and diamond bracelet.
The Mermaid chapter includes a brooch with a 10-carat black opal alongside rings, earrings and a necklace.
Nathalie Verdeille, Tiffany’s chief artistic officer for jewellery and high jewellery, said: “Each chapter offers its own moment of discovery, reinterpreting Jean Schlumberger’s marine inspirations with new visions of his aesthetic.”
Tiffany, founded in New York in 1837, operates more than 300 stores worldwide and employs around 14,000 people.
