Luxury jewellery and watch retailer Berry’s Jewellers has named The Brain Tumour Charity as its charity of the year for 2026.
The family-owned business, which operates stores in Leeds, York, Windsor, Nottingham and Newcastle, said staff across the group will take part in a series of fundraising activities during the year.
Proceeds will support research into primary brain tumours and services for people affected by the condition.
The Brain Tumour Charity is based in Fleet, Hampshire, and is the UK’s largest dedicated funder of research into primary brain tumours.
More than 12,000 people are diagnosed with a primary brain tumour each year in the UK, with survival rates having seen limited improvement in recent decades.
Simon Oxby, head of operations at Berry’s Jewellers, said: “As a family business, supporting The Brain Tumour Charity is very close to our hearts. The money raised will help every single person affected by a brain tumour.”
Sally King, corporate partnerships manager at The Brain Tumour Charity, added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with the incredible team at Berry’s Jewellers. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of everyone under 40 and, unlike other diseases, survival rates have not improved for decades. Support from Berry’s Jewellers will make a real difference and help us move closer to a future where brain tumours no longer destroy lives.”
