Active and Adventurous Experiences for Couples in London
London offers exciting active excursions perfect for adventurous couples looking to get their blood pumping. From escape rooms to park walks, the city provides myriad heart-racing date ideas to bond over.
1. Summit: Ally Pally Rooftop Adventure – The Highest Roof Walk in the UK
One of the most exciting new additions to London’s date scene, Summit at Alexandra Palace is the highest roof walk in the UK. Opening on 14 February 2026, this fully guided experience takes you 130 metres above sea level to the very top of Ally Pally, where you’ll enjoy uninterrupted 360-degree panoramic views stretching 25 miles across the city.
Created by Wire & Sky – the same team behind the Dare Skywalk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the former Up at The O2 experience – Summit offers daytime, sunset and after-dark climbs. You’ll be fitted with a full-body harness and follow a specially designed route up onto the roof, learning about Alexandra Palace’s 150-year history along the way.
From the top, you can spot landmarks including St Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard and Canary Wharf. We loved our daytime climb, and think the sunset ascent would make a particularly romantic date.

2. Crazy Golf
At Puttshack, electronic scoring technology means that there’s strictly no cheating allowed ;-). There are locations at Bank and White City, which both have food and drink options as well as several fun crazy golf courses.
Another great alternative is Swingers West End, who have a prime location on John Prince’s Street next to Oxford Circus. We’ve found crazy golf to be a great icebreaker for early dates.
3. London Cable Car
Soar above the river Thames and London skyline in the Emirates Air Line. The cable car runs between Greenwich Peninsula near to the O2 and the Royal Docks.
It’s open until 9 pm daily and 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. You can even book a private cabin, with fast-track entry, champagne and an in-flight souvenir guide.
We recommend timing your ride for sunset – the views are spectacular.
4. Pedalo Boats
What could be more fun in Summer than to take a boat out on the water. Three of the best London boating lakes are in Hyde Park, Regent’s Park and Victoria Park.
You can find fun swan pedalos at the Boating Lake at Alexandra Palace, and at Stratford Waterfront Pontoon in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

5. GoBoat Self-Drive Boats
For a more adventurous take on London boating, hire a GoBoat from Paddington Basin. These electric, self-drive boats are incredibly easy to operate – no licence needed – and you can cruise along the Grand Union Canal through Little Venice, past Regent’s Park and even towards Camden.
The best part? You can bring your own food and drinks on board for a floating picnic. We love that you can book for just two people, making it an ideal intimate date.
6. Greenwich Park
One of the most beautiful places in London, Greenwich is ideal for a date. Go stargazing in the Royal Observatory, contemplate the passing of time at the Prime Meridian Line, admire the Painted Hall or wander around Greenwich Market.
End your Greenwich dates with fish and chips from one of the market stalls.
7. Ultraviolet Table Tennis
At Bounce you can challenge your partner to a game of ping pong and enjoy the lively atmosphere. There are two London locations at Holborn and Old Street.
The UV lighting adds a fun twist that makes for great photos.
8. Up at The O2
Take a guided climb up and over the O2 arena roof for a different perspective of London. It’s possible to see landmarks that are up to 15 miles away.
There are daytime, sunset and twilight climbs available.
9. Escape Room
For a fun day out, why not book the Runaway Groom Escape Room. Your mission is to find a runaway groom and to get him to the church on time.
Solve the clues in one hour to succeed! We’ve done several London escape rooms together and they’re brilliant for teamwork – you’ll quickly learn how your partner thinks under pressure.
10. Ice Skating
In wintertime, London has a huge range of ice skating venues. Some of the best include Battersea Power Station, Somerset House in Central London and the Tower of London in the City.
I always look forward to ice skating season – there’s something undeniably romantic about skating hand-in-hand beneath fairy lights.
11. Lee Valley White Water Centre
For truly adventurous couples, the Lee Valley White Water Centre in East London offers rafting, kayaking and hydrospeeding on Olympic-grade rapids. This is where the 2012 Olympic canoe slalom events took place, and it’s one of the most unique adrenaline experiences you can have in London.
Not for the faint-hearted, but an unforgettable shared experience.
Exploring London’s Neighbourhoods Together
Some of our best dates have simply been wandering through London’s distinctive neighbourhoods. Here are the ones we come back to again and again.
12. Camden Market
Camden Market is known for its funky, eclectic vibe which lends itself more to casual dates. Here are some fun activities that we’d suggest for couples:
- Take a photography stroll – Wander the market’s vibrant stalls and streets snapping pics of the graffitied walls, punk fashions, and eclectic wares to document your day. See who gets the most unique shot!
- Enjoy street food together – Sample different cuisines from around the world like kebabs, curries, pad thai. Then relax with dessert crepes and hot drinks.
- See a comedy show – Head to Camden Highlight at Camden Lock Market or another intimate local comedy club. Share lots of laughs together at the humorous sets over drinks.
- Check out a record shop – Browse vinyls and CDs side-by-side picking out songs with sentimental meaning to you both or discovering new shared favorites. Romance with a retro, punk twist!
13. Explore Spitalfields
This area of East London is a trendy, upmarket neighborhood with an alternative vibe. The famous Old Spitalfields Market opened in 1682 and today features a lively mix of independent shops, restaurants, galleries and public spaces.
Brick Lane is the place to go for a curry or for the Sunday market. This is one of our favourite areas – we actually had our couples photoshoot in nearby Shoreditch.

14. Stroll around Notting Hill
There are quite a few Notting Hill hidden gems as well as the famous places such as Portobello Road antiques market. Enjoy a film at the Electric Cinema or a meal at 2 Michelin-starred The Ledbury.
There are also some very cute Notting Hill cafes including Farm Girl and Daylesford. I love photographing the pastel-coloured houses here – they’re incredibly photogenic in every season.

15. Hampstead Heath
This beautiful area is a great place for a date in London. There’s the charming Hill Garden and Pergola in summertime, and Kenwood House to explore in colder weather.
You’ll also find some cute pubs such as The Holly Bush on Holly Mount and the 16th century Spaniards Inn. We think the walk up to Parliament Hill for sunset views over the city skyline is one of the most romantic free experiences in London.
16. Strolling around Knightsbridge
From the opulence of the Egyptian Staircase in Harrods to the quiet charm of secret London mews, Knightsbridge is a delight. There are quite a few cultural attractions here too including Apsley House, the Victoria and Albert Museum and Wellington Arch.

17. Columbia Road Flower Market
An ideal Sunday activity, this popular street market is a great place to come for flowers or simply to browse the artisan shops and cafes. Some of our faves are Cake Hole Cafe @ Vintage Heaven, Brawn for Mediterranean food and Campania for Italian dishes at nearby Ezra Street. We try to arrive early (around 8 am) as it gets very busy from mid-morning.
18. Hyde Park
There’s culture, entertainment, nature and relaxation in romantic Hyde Park.
- Pack a picnic blanket and snacks to enjoy the park or have a drink at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen, designed by Zaha Hadid.
- Ride side-by-side on a bike rental through the park’s leafy pathways and scenic trails.
- Stroll through Kensington Gardens and have afternoon tea at The Orangery. Its elegant 18th century surroundings are perfect for a date.
- See the romantic swans, ducks, and wildlife at The Diana Memorial Fountain.
- Visit the Peter Pan statue and be kids-at-heart.

Unusual and Unique Things for Couples to Do in London
London offers couples a wealth of unique and romantic experiences to bond and make memorable moments. Whether you prefer intimate theater shows or bespoke cocktail-making classes, there are many one-of-a-kind activities to do together in this world-famous city.
19. Silent Disco
Party with your partner on the Dutch Master, a two storey disco boat. Float past famous riverside attractions and pick your preferred music style, from disco to pop, house. or rock.
The Science Museum also has monthly free silent disco events on the last Wednesday of every month which must be booked in advance.
20. Speedboat Ride along the Thames
Many companies offer Thames speedboat tours departing from locations like the London Eye, Tower Pier, and Canary Wharf. Go for one that lets you see top London sights like Big Ben, the Tower Bridge, and the Shard from the unique vantage point of the river. Adrenaline seekers will love this thrilling experience.
Book a private charter boat so it’s just the two of you with the captain. This way you can customize the route and pacing. You’ll have more romantic moments taking in river views without a big group.
Time your ride to go near sunset or at night when you can see the city lit up. It’s much more scenic and memorable at golden hour or after dark.
21. Tower Bridge Glass Floor Walkway
For a really unique experience, book tickets to Tower Bridge and its glass bottomed walkway. 42 metres high, the panoramic walkway gives you great views of the Thames and surrounding area. The Victorian Engine Rooms are another fascinating sight within Tower Bridge.
I’ll admit, standing on the glass floor made me a little nervous at first – but the views are worth it!
22. BBQ Boats
Head to Canary Wharf for a fun date in a BBQ boat! Skuna Boats BBQ Boat is a barbecue party boat that operates on the River Thames. Its a fun and unique way to host a private barbecue cruise.
23. Dennis Severs’ House by Candlelight
This 18th century house in Spitalfields has been lovingly restored to portray the life of a Huguenot silk weaver family. There are weekly silent tours, where you are instructed to turn your phone off and to immerse yourself fully into the candlelit ambiance.
We found this to be one of the most atmospheric experiences in London – it genuinely transports you back in time.

24. Private Karaoke
For a fun and surprisingly romantic date, book a private karaoke room at one of London’s karaoke bars. Places like Lucky Voice in Soho and BAM Karaoke Box in Victoria offer private booths for two, complete with cocktails and a huge song library.
There’s something wonderfully liberating about belting out power ballads together behind closed doors – no judgement, just fun. We’ve been several times to BAM Karaoke Box and it’s so much fun!
25. Candlelight Concert
One of the hottest date trends in London, candlelight concerts take place in stunning historic venues lit entirely by flickering candles. From classical string quartets to tributes to artists like Fleetwood Mac and Coldplay, there’s a style for every couple.
Churches like St Clement Danes and concert halls across the capital host these intimate evenings. We attended one at a Southwark church and the atmosphere was truly magical.
26. Gin Distillery Experience
London is the birthplace of gin, and there are several brilliant distillery experiences for couples. Visit an award-winning East London distillery tucked into a railway arch and try your hand at a Gin School session, blending your own botanicals.
The Beefeater Gin Distillery in Kennington and the Sipsmith Distillery in Chiswick are other excellent options for a hands-on tasting date.
27. Couples Pottery or Craft Workshop
Creative workshops have become one of London’s most popular date activities. Try a pottery wheel-throwing class together, learn candle-making, or have a go at glassblowing.
There are workshops in Hackney, Camden, Shoreditch and across the city, led by local artisans. It’s a lovely way to create something together – and you get to take home a memento of your date.
We went to Studio Pottery London at Eccleston Place, and had a great time!
Cultural Activities for Couples in London
London offers a wealth of cultural experiences for couples to enjoy together. From world-class museums and galleries to West End theater shows and concert performances by renowned artists, the city provides countless date options to bond over shared interests and discover new ones.
28. The Wallace Collection
Perhaps we’re biased as we spent part of our first date in this stunning London museum. The collection is housed within beautiful Hertford House and spread over several floors.
There are some stunning artworks and a lovely courtyard restaurant for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. This place holds a very special place in our hearts.
29. See a West End Show
A West End theatre show is one of the quintessential London date nights, and I’m always surprised when visitors skip it. From long-running musicals like The Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables to newer hits like Beetlejuice the Musical, there’s something for every taste.
For the best value, check the TKTS booth in Leicester Square for same-day discounted tickets. We try to see at least a few shows a year – there’s nothing like that shared experience of live theatre.
30. Performance at the Royal Opera House
Enjoy an opera performance at this historic building that dates from 1858. The Floral Hall is a striking glass and iron structure where you can dine before or in between the performances. From Spring onwards, you can enjoy a drink and panoramic views at the Piazza Terrace Bar.
31. The Meeting Place Statue
This gigantic sculpture of a couple embracing can be found on the upper concourse of St Pancras Station near the Eurostar terminal. Measuring 9 metres and weighing 20 tonnes, the bronze statue was designed by Paul Day.
It’s become an iconic meeting spot – we always smile when we walk past it.

32. Sadler’s Wells Ballet
Tucked away on Rosebery Avenue in Clerkenwell, you’ll find Sadler’s Wells, one of the best ballet venues in London. The home of the English National Ballet, they also showcase dancing such as flamenco and hip hop.
One of their most spectacular show’s is Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker. It’s ballet re imagined with a contemporary twist.
33. Immersive Theatre Show
A fun activity where you get actively involved, immersive theatre is increasingly popular. One of the most entertaining London immersive theatre nights is Faulty Towers the Dining Experience. This event at the Radisson Blu Bloomsbury Street Hotel brings the comedy classic to life with appearances by Basil, Sybil and Manuel.
34. Comedy Night
London has one of the best live comedy scenes in the world, and a comedy night makes a brilliant casual date. Check out the Comedy Store in Leicester Square, Angel Comedy (which is free!) or the intimate comedy clubs dotted around Soho and Camden.
We’ve had some of our best nights out at smaller comedy clubs where you end up chatting with the comedians afterwards.
35. Meet at the Eros Statue
This famous London statue is a great meeting spot for first dates. Located at Piccadilly Circus, the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain was created by sculptor Alfred Gilbert.
It’s right in the heart of the West End, making it the perfect starting point before heading to dinner or a show.

36. Shakespeare’s Globe
This reconstruction of William Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is a brilliant place to see the bard’s plays. Located on the south bank of the Thames, it has an open air roof so performances take place from mid May to October.
However there are regular guided tours throughout the year.
37. The Whispering Gallery at St Paul’s Cathedral
This masterpiece was created by Sir Christopher Wren in the English Baroque style. Climb 259 steps to the dome of The Whispering Gallery, known for its acoustics.
If one of you stands at one end and one at the other, you’ll hear everything the other whispers to you clearly. As someone who lives near St Paul’s, I can tell you this never gets old – it feels like your own secret communication channel.
38. Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre
This award winning theatre is located in the heart of Regent’s Park. There’s a magical ambiance, with fairy lights festooned around the venue and the longest bar in the West End.
Plays take place from mid May to mid September and are a lovely London Summer activity. We try to go at least once every summer.
39. Tate Modern
Whether you’re both into modern art or not, this collection will certainly spark a discussion. Take the lift to the top floor viewing platform and admire the Thames panorama together.

40. Couples Photoshoot
If you want to capture your London memories professionally, we highly recommend booking a couples photoshoot. We did ours in Shoreditch and it was one of the best experiences we’ve had together in the city.
Services like Flytographer connect you with local photographers who know the most photogenic spots. It’s a wonderful way to get professional photos together without the awkwardness of asking strangers to take your picture.
Foodie Things to Do in London for Couples
London’s food scene is one of the best in the world, and there are so many great foodie experiences to share. Here are some of our favourites from our top London dining experiences:
41. Quirky Dining Experience
Imagine eating your food in complete darkness! This is the ethos of Dans le Noir ?, where the dining room is pitch black.
Blind waiters will guide you to your table and to the restrooms. Your other senses will be enhanced as you taste fresh produce sourced from nearby Smithfield Market.
We found that dining in the dark completely changed how we experienced food – and it’s a great conversation starter.
42. Chocolate Workshop
If you and your partner have a sweet tooth, a London chocolate workshop is great fun. You’ll learn about the history of chocolate and taste many delicious varieties before making truffles which you can take home with you.
43. Borough Market
For a relaxing weekend date, why not visit a London food market? Borough Market in South London is one of the most famous. It has existed in some form for around 1,000 years, making it one of the oldest food markets in London.
Today, this is one of the largest and most renowned food markets with over 100 stalls and vendors selling a wide range of international foods and local products. Our tip: visit on a weekday morning for a more relaxed experience, or go on a Saturday for the full buzzing atmosphere.
44. Ice Cream Tour
You don’t have to go to Italy to find great ice cream. Take a London gelateria tour to discover the best ice cream in the capital.
You’ll taste 20 or more sweet treats including ice cream, sorbets and chocolate milkshakes and visit 5 gelaterias in Covent Garden and Soho with an expert guide.
45. Traditional Pub Lunch
There are lots of picturesque London pubs, and here are some of the best for couples. Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street has several little nooks and crannies where you can sit with your loved one, Mr Fogg’s Tavern is a quirky pub in Covent Garden, while Maroush at Crocker’s Folly is a spectacular Victorian pub in St John’s Wood.
46. Themed Afternoon Tea
One of the best London experiences is going for tea, and there are many great themed afternoon teas to enjoy. We’ve rounded up 21 top teas, so take your pick from Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Saint and Sinner and more.
We love trying new themed teas – they make ordinary afternoons feel like special occasions.

47. Rooftop Bar
There are some fantastic rooftop bars in London, including Aqua Spirit and Radio Rooftop in Central London. East London also has many bars with panoramic views such as Aviary, Savage Garden and the Sky Garden.
South of the river, the Oxo Tower and Seabird at the Hoxton Southwark bar are sure to delight.
48. Igloo Pod Dining
For a unique London dining experience, book an igloo pod! There are several London igloo restaurants. Most of these only have the igloos in Winter, but some like Coppa Club Tower Bridge keep the pods up all year round. We’ve found that the pods at Coppa Club make for particularly Instagram-worthy date photos.
49. Dine in a Space Pod
At Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen near St Paul’s, you can eat in your very own space pod. Bookable as a private space for 2 people or more, it’s available for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

50. Oldest Wine Bar in London
Gordon’s Wine Bar was established in 1890 and is a very intimate place. Enjoy delicious cheese and wine by candlelight in one of the bar’s nooks and crannies.
In Summer, people spill out into the courtyard until the wee hours. This is one of our all-time favourite date spots in London – the candlelit cellar atmosphere is unbeatable. Arrive early as you can’t book and it fills up fast.
51. Romantic Restaurants in London
Here are some of the most romantic restaurants in London perfect for a couples’ night out:
Gordon Ramsay’s Pétrus – Intimate and elegant, this Michelin-starred restaurant in Knightsbridge has a fabulous tasting menu and wine pairings. The plush decor and attentive service make it ideal for a special occasion.

52. Picnic in a London Park
Whether you bring your own picnic or book a London butler champagne picnic, there are lots of green spaces to choose from. We particularly like Green Park in St James’s and the secret garden in Regent’s Park, a great London hidden gem.
Battersea Park and Holland Park are other great options, while the London panoramic view from Primrose Hill is fantastic.

53. Eat Oysters on Board a Narrowboat
The London Shell Co sails from Paddington 3 nights a week. Feast on delicious seafood as you cruise along the Regent’s Canal.
Signature dishes include Morecambe Bay oysters and queen scallops with pea puree and there are signature cocktails too. I’d recommend booking well in advance as this one fills up quickly.
54. Coffee and Cake at Peggy Porschen
One of the most Instagrammable London cafes, Peggy Porschen has a very romantic vibe. Decorated in pink from the outside to the inside, it’s known for its tasty cakes and other sweet treats.
Go in the morning to avoid the crowds.

Luxurious Things to Do for Couples in London
From five-star dining to plush spa treatments and VIP access at exclusive venues, London caters to those seeking quality time together in comfort and elegance.
55. Historic London Baths
Aire Ancient Baths are located in the former home of J.M. Barrie, creator of Peter Pan. These subterranean baths offer a unique and magical atmosphere that will transport you to another world!
You can also book a unique couples experience in the Wine Bath, soaking up the antioxidant goodness of Spanish Tempranillo grapes. Add cava or juice and truffles after your massage in the luxurious lounge for a truly memorable occasion.

56. London Couples Spa Day
Some of the best spas in London include The Corinthia, The May Fair Hotel and The Athenaeum. Treat yourself to a couples’ massage or a luxury facial.
We find that a spa day is the perfect way to reconnect, especially after a busy week.
57. Fine Dining in Mayfair
We highly recommend the chef’s table experience at Muse by Tom Aikens in Belgravia, as well as dining at the counter at Pavyllon London on Hamilton Place. Other highlights include eccentric Sketch and vibrant Sexy Fish.
58. View from The Shard
You can see for over 40 miles from the top of The Shard. At 800 feet high, there are incredible views of the Tower of London, the River Thames and the Houses of Parliament.
Combine your visit to The View from The Shard with afternoon tea at Browns Butlers Wharf for a fun day out.
59. Press for Champagne
You can indulge your love of Champagne at Bob Bob Ricard, who have restaurants in Soho and the City. The modern British and Russian menu is a treat, but it’s the champagne buttons on each table that really draw the diners here.
We love pressing that button – it never gets old!
60. Date Night at a London Cocktail Bar
A fun and romantic date night idea for couples in London is heading to a swanky cocktail bar. Here are some suggestions for excellent bars to check out:
The American Bar at The Savoy – This elegant London hotel bar has a pianist playing jazzy classics, creating a Gatsby-esque vibe. Their expert bartenders craft unique takes on iconic cocktails. Book a table on the balcony for stunning views looking over the River Thames.
Dandelyan at Mondrian London – At this award-winning Southbank bar, get some guidance from the knowledgeable staff and try some molecular mixology cocktails, maybe with some fun smoke or foam elements!
Sugar Cane Bar – Escape to this tiki bar in Lavender Hill for some colorful, tropical cocktails, paired with tasty bar bites.
61. Jewellery Shopping in Hatton Garden
This prestigious street in Holborn has a great selection of luxury jewelry stores. Whether you’re looking for a watch, bespoke eternity ring or vintage gemstones, this is the place to come.
62. Luxury London Cinema
Book a sofa or reclining seat at one of the top luxury cinemas in London. Many of them have food service at your seat and Dolby surround sound.
One of our favourites is the Everyman chain, where you can enjoy a glass of wine in a comfy armchair.

Romantic London Places to Visit
Strolling hand-in-hand across Tower Bridge at sunset or sharing a kiss in front of magnificent Buckingham Palace are just some of the memorable romantic experiences London has to offer. The city also boasts beautiful parks and green spaces like Kew Gardens and Hyde Park that are perfect for a picnic or leisurely walk with your loved one.
63. Kew Gardens
The iconic Palm House and Temperate House conservatories have a very romantic vibe, but there’s lots more to see at Kew Gardens. Stroll along the Treetop Walkway and admire The Hive, which stands 17 metres tall.
We love visiting in spring when the blooms are at their best, though the Christmas light trail in winter is equally magical.
64. Thames River Cruise
A Thames river cruise is a classic romantic activity for couples visiting London. Here are some specific romantic suggestions for your cruise:
- Time it right – Book a sunset or evening cruise so you can cuddle up on deck with a glass of wine, enjoy glittering city lights reflections, and maybe even some fireworks.
- Upgrade your tickets – Splurge for VIP champagne experience tickets that include seats at the front with the best views and unlimited champagne to set the mood.
- Dine while you cruise – Choose a cruise offering a multi-course fine dining experience. Gazing at riverside sights from your candlelit table for two sets a very romantic ambiance.
- Live music – Look for a cruise promoted as “jazz” or similar, perfect for some dancing cheek-to-cheek or cozying during slow songs under the moonlight and city glow.
65. Stay in a Romantic Boutique Hotel
Take your pick from Batty Langley’s, with its bookcase door leading to a bathroom, The Berkeley with its rooftop pool and spa or The Langham with its beautiful Palm Court. The Treehouse Hotel in Marylebone is a cool new arrival on the London hotel scene, with fantastic views of the capital and a stylish rooftop bar.

The self-drive, electric hot tub is wood-fired and there are heated changing rooms with lockers available. You can also opt for a BBQ boat, without the hot tub.
67. The London Eye
If you really want to impress your date, book a Cupid’s Capsule on the London Eye. You’ll enjoy champagne and chocolates served by your own waiter in your private capsule, with panoramic views of London.
Alternatively, try the Champagne Experience in a regular pod.

68. London Helicopter Tour
What better way to see the city together than with an exhilarating London helicopter ride? Soar above the River Thames and admire iconic sights as Trafalgar Square and The Shard.
This is the only helicopter tour taking off from central London.
Seasonal London Date Ideas
London transforms with the seasons, and some of the best couple’s activities are seasonal. Here’s what to look out for throughout the year.
Spring and Summer Date Ideas
From April onwards, London’s outdoor spaces come alive. Catch a performance at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, hire a pedalo on the Serpentine, explore the Chelsea Flower Show or enjoy rooftop bars and alfresco dining.
The long Summer evenings make sunset river cruises and picnics in the park particularly special.
Autumn and Winter Date Ideas
When the weather cools, London gets cosier. Look for ice skating rinks at Somerset House and the Natural History Museum, Christmas markets at Southbank Centre and Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
Candlelight concerts, theatre shows and cosy pub dates come into their own. The Kew Gardens Christmas light trail is one of our favourite winter date nights. It books up weeks in advance though!
