Luxury fine jeweller Kiki McDonough has launched a new chapter in its detachable drop collection, reintroducing its pieces in a “bold, playful reimagining” and adding detachable pendants to promote mixing and matching.
Following their debut in 2004, the London-based brand said the drops have become one of their signature designs, “loved for their versatility, personality and unmistakable Kiki charm”.
For enhanced vibrancy, the collection’s latest edition features its classic pieces with “joyful” fresh motifs and gemstone combinations set in 18ct yellow gold, including citrine, fire opal, peridot, blue topaz, amethyst, rhodolite garnet, pink sapphire and diamond as well as pearls.
To “encourage individuality and customer-led curation”, the brand said the line contains new detachable pendants, whose clip-on hinged bales makes it easy to swap items out, stack them together or layered them with other pieces.
McDonough said: “Maximalists, consider this your moment. With their joyful spirit and limitless styling potential, the new detachable drops and pendants invite wearers to curate a look that’s entirely their own. It’s jewellery designed not just to be worn, but to be played with, layered, reimagined and reinvented again and again.”
“More than 20 years after their debut, Kiki McDonough’s detachable designs are going truly stratospheric proving that great ideas don’t just endure, they evolve. And this time, the possibilities are limitless.”
