Tasaki has launched new pieces in its iconic Balance collection which, inspired by the form of a balance ball, present pearls lined up along a sleek bar in earrings, rings and pendants.
The Balance line was originally introduced in 2010 as the first collection by designer Thakoon Panichgul for the Tasaki Collection Line.
The new pieces are crafted in yellow gold or white gold with diamonds.
The luxury jeweller said its new ‘balance step neo’ creations reflect the signature ‘balance’ motif with pearls placed in a light, step-like formation, while ‘balance parallel neo’ features two parallel lines.
Meanwhile, ‘balance arm neo’ mirrors the classic motif through a sculptural arrangement of pearls set at diverse heights.
Established in 1954, Tasak cultivates and finishes its pearls in-house and is a primary global producer of Akoya pearls.
The house is the only De Beers sight-holder in Japan, which Tasaki said grants it first-hand access to top-grade diamonds, which it cuts and polishes in its Kobe workshops.
