Goldsmiths’ Centre unveils Creative Links programme for 2026

The Goldsmiths’ Centre has launched the latest season of its “Creative Links” programme, a series of talks and networking events for professionals across the jewellery sector.

The programme is intended to support and upskill the jewellery and silversmithing community, bringing designers, makers and craftspeople from across the UK and internationally into one place.

The events will be led by leading experts across the sector and will include sessions focused on developing business skills, exchanging ideas, exploring industry trends and developing professional relationships.

Guest speakers for 2026 include ethical metals champion Saskia Shutt, who will explore the differences between recycled and mined gold. Brand director Elizabeth Galton will also lead a session for designer-makers on defining customer identity and product development.

Business and training consultant Zoe Cooper will also appear, examining the psychology of online sales, alongside industry expert Liz Olver, who will address the fundamentals of range planning.

The programme is created by insights from the Goldsmiths’ Centre Business Diagnostic and Advice sessions, as well as feedback from its community, ensuring all events meet the changing needs of jewellery and silversmithing businesses.

The 2025 season saw more than 560 people from across the UK attend, showing demand for practical business support, industry insights and opportunities to connect with associates in the field.

Charlotte Dew, head of public programmes at the Goldsmiths’ Centre, said: “Creative Links has given makers and creative business owners access to the knowledge, connections and confidence they need to grow since 2018.

“Shaped by conversations with experts and businesses from the sector, the programme delivers practical insights while creating valuable opportunities to learn from experts and peers. The continued growth in attendance shows just how important these opportunities are for our community.”
