Mikimoto unveils L’éclat high jewellery collection

Mikimoto, the Japanese luxury jeweller, has launched a new high jewellery collection named L’éclat, featuring designs constructed from cultured pearls, diamonds and gemstones.

The range includes necklaces, earrings, rings, brooches and head jewellery. Items within the collection incorporate Akoya and White South Sea cultured pearls alongside diamonds, mother-of-pearl, tourmaline, emeralds and sapphires.

Featured designs include the L’éclat Originel necklace and a constellation-inspired headpiece named L’éclat Stellaire. The company also unveiled a geometric shoulder brooch, L’éclat Majestueux, constructed with aquamarine, tourmaline and tanzanite.

The business was established in 1893 when Kokichi Mikimoto, the founder, created the first cultured pearl. Headquartered in Tokyo, the jewellery house operates an integrated production and retail network across London, Paris and New York.
