Laings has unveiled a comprehensive renovation of its Cardiff showroom, marking the latest expansion of its Welsh flagship location since the site was enlarged in 2021.
The updated 2026 floor plan includes a redesigned storefront with the removal of window backs to increase interior visibility for pedestrians.
The internal layout has been restructured to separate Swiss watchmaking collections from the diamond and gemstone departments.
A new host welcome area has been installed to manage appointments and walk-in consultations.
The renovation follows the firm’s 26-year presence in the city, where it serves as a regional hub for both retail and bespoke jewellery design.
The showroom features new technical display elements, including rotating turntable cabinets designed to provide 360-degree views of the Laings Family Collection and exclusive pieces.
Above the retail floor, the onsite workshop remains operational, providing bespoke manufacturing and restoration services.
A dedicated client service area has also been introduced for watchmaking consultations and technical advice.
These physical infrastructure improvements are intended to support the firm’s long-term commitment to the Welsh luxury market and its specialised technical heritage.
Interior design updates incorporate the brand’s navy blue palette alongside wooden desks and podiums to maintain visual consistency with the group’s national portfolio.
Additionally, by integrating onsite craft and restoration services with a modernised retail floor, Laings aims to consolidate its position as a “primary destination for high-end horology and fine jewelry within Cardiff’s historic district”.
