London jewellery house Maya Magal has launched MM Studio, a permanent collection of gold-plated recycled brass pieces, in response to rising precious metal market prices.
The new line is designed to sit alongside the brand’s existing recycled solid gold and sterling silver collections.
By using 18ct gold-plated brass, the company aims to maintain design accessibility while precious metal costs increase across the industry. MM Studio features ten initial pieces, including graduated link necklaces, bracelets, and wide band rings.
The collection focuses on varied silhouettes, such as the Lucid Bangle and the Molten Cuff, which are shaped by hand to create organic forms.
Each item is labelled by material to maintain transparency regarding the distinction between the studio line and the brand’s fine jewellery foundation.
Maya Magal operates a bespoke design studio in Islington and a flagship store in King’s Cross.
The brand continues to use 100% recycled metals for its core collections and conflict-free gemstones. MM Studio will be available through the retailer’s physical stores and online platform as a permanent addition to the portfolio.
Founder Maya Magal said: “MM Studio is about offering more choice, without dilution. Our commitment to craftsmanship and material transparency remains unchanged. Solid gold and sterling silver continue to sit at the heart of what we do. MM Studio exists alongside them as a space for bold form and creative expression.
“Design has always led our process. MM Studio allows us to explore form more freely, while keeping our core collections in solid gold and silver exactly as they are—intentional, enduring and responsibly made.”
