Dior unveils 141-piece high jewellery collection in Venice

The French fashion house Dior has launched a 141-piece high jewellery collection in Venice, featuring designs inspired by abstract art and natural themes. 

Artistic director Victoire de Castellane designed the line, named Diorissima, which marks the latest addition to the brand’s jewellery portfolio. 

The collection is divided into three distinct themes focusing on plant life, marine environments, and celestial patterns.

The pieces include necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, earcuffs, and brooches. Production workshops used a traditional doublet technique to layer thin gemstones, such as opal over chrysoprase, to create specific colour gradients. The designer also applied lacquer techniques to alter opacity and light reflection across the items.

According to Dior, the collection features a “whimsical interplay of shapes, cut-outs, juxtapositions and colours among the gemstones”, and “celebrate the art of collage practised by Victoire de Castellane”.

It is also described as an “homage” to the House of Dior and to Venice, La Serenissima, where it was unveiled in May 2026.
