LoveLab Antwerp, a brand under CMJ supplier DCNV, has teamed up with the International Gemological Institute (IGI) to certify lab-grown diamonds starting from just 0.05 carats.
Beginning mid-May 2026, every diamond of this size or larger will be accompanied by an individual IGI certificate, marking a significant departure from industry norms where certification is typically reserved for much larger stones.
The rollout is designed to reinforce traceability within the lab-grown diamond market. Each certified stone will come with a credit-card-sized IGI certificate integrated directly into the brand’s packaging.
This systematic application of grading, regardless of the diamond’s size, aims to provide consumers with the same level of documented quality usually associated with premium, high-carat purchases.
The new certification process will be implemented across all of the brand’s distribution channels, including retail partners, B2B sectors, and its online platform.
LoveLab Antwerp noted that the move is part of a broader strategy to ensure that “every diamond matters” and that all customers have access to independent verification of their stones.
LoveLab Antwerp said: “With this partnership, we aim to push transparency even further. Offering certification from 0.05ct means that every diamond matters and that every customer deserves the same level of clarity and trust.”
